Blackened Artichoke Heart of Cersei

Does anyone out there not want to see Cersei slowly tortured and killed at the hands of say, Sansa or Arya? Maybe even Shae? The only man I’d want to see kill her is her brother Tyrion. Or maybe Joffrey…right before a dragon bites his head off or something.

Aaaaaanyway, continuing with the Game of Thrones themed menu, here is a quick and easy recipe for Blackened Artichoke Heart of Cersei. Man is she a bitch. But these are delicious!

Ingredients:

One can artichoke hearts (I used a Trader Joe’s brand)
1 tsp each Rubbed Sage, crushed Rosemary, and Kosher salt.
Olive oil to coat

Tools:

Baking pan
Aluminum foil

Turn on your broiler, let it heat for about 20 minutes.

Slimy…just like Cersei. But more delicious.

Arrange the artichoke hearts together in aluminum foil with raised sides so it catches the oil. Drizzle the olive oil and coat the hearts – then add the herbs and salt. Transfer to a baking pan and broil until starting to brown. Serve immediately and enjoy.

If I were to feed these to Cersei I’d probably poison them.
